The RSPCA Middlesex North West Branch is one of over 160 local Branches of the RSPCA around England and Wales. As a local Branch we are a registered charity and are not directly funded by the national RSPCA but raise all then funds we need locally. Our Branch covers an area that goes from Marlybone in the south east out as far as Harefield then north to include Rickmansworth, Watford and up as far as St Albans. From there heading south we cover Radlett, Stanmore and on down to Marlybone.
Our work focuses on the rescue and rehoming of stray and unwanted pets, neutering, microchipping, and the provision of welfare assistance the ensue animals in need of veterinary care get assessed and treatment as needed. We do not deal with wildlife. We carry out the work we do with three animal welfare officers who work as field workers as we do not have an animal centre. For rehoming stray and unwanted animals we foster them or use boarding facilities until we find them new homes.
In 2007 we took in and rehomed over 300 unwanted or stray pets. In addition to this we neutered, microchipped or provided welfare assistance to in excess of 600 animals during the year.
