| A qualified Met Office forecaster, Martyn joined the ITV national weather service in 1989, and spends much of his time presenting the national weather, as well as working with Meridian. Fred and Martyn have been having a friendly chuckle, quite often at each other’s expense, for 15 years now. When not working, Martyn plays tennis and tackles DIY projects at home. A huge motor sport fan, sunny days find him heading for the countryside with wife Kate in their much-loved Lotus Elise. |

| Gemma trained as a broadcast meteorologist with the Met Office, after studying drama and presenting on local radio. Following two years with BBC regional weather in Southampton, Gemma joined Meridian as South East weather presenter in July 2000. Two years later, Gemma took over from Carl Tyler as Meridian's main weather presenter. Apart from meteorology, Gemma enjoys horse riding, golf and the odd trip to the theatre, often to support old friends from her acting days. |

| Twenty years ago, Simon was one of the faces of Children’s BBC. The popularity of the Broom Cupboard means that to this day he’s asked “Where’s Edd The Duck?” Simon moved to GMTV for its launch and stayed for four years, then worked around the country presenting on both TV and radio. In 2006, he began weather presenting with ITV Westcountry, before joining the Thames Valley team. Simon is married to Celina their family consists of Emily, Charlie and Scrumpy the dog. |
