	Ian Axton
	Ian joined ITV Meridian in 2002 from commercial radio. His TV work has been recognised by the Royal Television Society and Ian can sometimes be seen presenting national news bulletins on ITV1. Ian acquired a taste for television when, aged 10, he visited his local ITV station to watch the news broadcast, and realised that one day he’d love to do it himself. Away from the studio he loves to cook, but spends most of his time with his four year old twins.
	Sangeeta Bhabra
	Sangeeta first walked into an ITV Meridian newsroom in 2000, and she says she’s had a fantastic seven years reporting and presenting – and now co-hosting Meridian Tonight in the South East. Her career highlights have included a number of foreign assignments: travelling with British troops on a military training exercise at Suffield in Canada, researching the growth of outsourcing to India and joining Sir Richard Branson as he launched his vision of space travel in New York.
